If you had to buy a new car, would you take the one you could. Buy now that you like but is shit, or wait for someone to raise their half so you can afford it? You could get the one you want and can afford, but you don't know what's wrong with it or how much it coasts to fix it. Or you could go ahead and get the more expensive car that you know works good but you don't really like that much.

I'd buy the cheap one, hoping it doesn't take a lot of gas. I mean if I really cared how I looked, I'd just go get some whatevers to make my cheap looking car look nicer.

Not only does it look crappy but runs crapy. You could probably fix it yourself for free, but you can't know that until yo buy it
